Education
M.S. Environmental Engineering, 2018, RPI B.S. Environmental Engineering, 2017, RPI My Story I grew up on Long Island and from an early age, I’ve loved to coast and the ocean. I spent my summers exploring shorelines, both natural and urban, on foot and by kayak. I still have a strong love of urban kayaking to this day. I received my Bachelors and Masters degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Environmental Engineering. After completing these degrees I moved from NY to Seattle where I had the opportunity to work in environmental consulting and explore my interests. I found my deep love of exploring the coast translated to a love of working in marine and coastal environments and accepted a position at a marine science and sediment management consulting firm. However, consulting did not allow me to learn and research the topics I was most interested in, living shorelines. Due to this, I’ve decided to pursue my terminal degree at Stevens with Jon Miller’s research group. I’m excited to move back to the tri-state area and be able to pursue my research interests. |
